The Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC) has been catapulted to the sixth spot in the eminent Eventex Awards Top 100 Event Organisers and Agencies for 2023. This triumphant journey from ninth place in the preceding year is nothing short of sensational.

A beacon of excellence and consistency, NTMEC’s accolade is monumental, considering it is the sole Australian entity to have graced the Top 10. Out of the legion of contenders, only three Australian firms made their mark in the Top 100, a testament to NTMEC’s unparalleled expertise.

While we might be geographically compact, our impact and contributions are colossal. To be celebrated on such an expansive platform with the crème de la crème of the events world is profoundly rewarding.”

Mrs. Bishop further emphasized the transformative power of events, stating, “Recognition of this magnitude opens new horizons. It beckons a plethora of potential collaborations and partnerships, ensuring our constant evolution.”

In a cascading effect of recognitions, NTMEC showcased its sheer brilliance at the 2023 Eventex Awards. Spearheaded by its signature events, the company took home an astounding 10 awards. Notably, Parrtjima – A Festival in Light 2022 was a sensation with six awards in its kitty, closely followed by BASSINTHEGRASS Music Festival 2022 and the Darwin Triple Crown Supercars Indigenous Round 2022, each clinching two awards.

The significance of these accolades transcends mere recognition. The events injected an economic stimulus of $58.9 million, with a staggering $44.3 million being fresh capital for the Territory.
