Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford is delighted to announce the appointment of Marshall J Orton as the new General Manager of Food & Beverage (F&B), effective 1 September 2023.
With an impressive career spanning 35 years across multiple prestigious hotels and resorts, Orton brings extensive expertise and a well-rounded skills set in luxury hospitality, hotel management & operations, food & beverage and culinary, having made notable contributions in his different capacities as Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Assistant Manager and most recently, General Manager of Fairmont Sirru Fen Fushi in the Maldives.
At Fairmont Singapore & Swissôtel The Stamford, Orton will be a valuable asset to the team with his comprehensive and proven track record. He will steer overall food & beverage operations including the culinary department, drive strategic direction, enhance business performance and guest experience in Raffles City Convention Centre and the hotels’ 12 restaurants and bars, which include lauded two-Michelin starred JAAN by Kirk Westaway, contemporary grill SKAI, familiar Italian favourite Prego and modern cocktail bar ANTI:DOTE. Given Orton’s passion for excellence and impactful leadership, he is well-positioned to take these popular establishments to the next level.
