BREWERY CHEERS A DECADE OF SUCCESS AT ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATIONSouth Gate Brewing Company is celebrating its 10th birthday with an anniversary party and Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 7. The event starts at noon, featuring live music, traditional German food, craft beer on tap, a stein-holding competition, and much more.

“We’re so grateful to our community for supporting us over the past 10 years,” Lindsay Hawkins, owner of South Gate Brewing Company, said with a smile. “We couldn’t have done it without you. We hope you’ll join us for our Oktoberfest party as we throw the biggest possible party to celebrate this special occasion.”

The anniversary party is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate 10 years of delicious food, great beer, and good times at South Gate Brewing Company.

Community members look back on this ten-year milestone with nostalgia and joy. “South Gate Brewing Company has been a part of my family’s life for the past ten years,’ recollects Rhonda Salisbury, CEO of Visit Yosemite | Madera County.

“We’ve celebrated birthdays and holidays and even toasted the birth of our grandson there,” Salisbury continued. “I’ve laughed with friends and family and enjoyed wonderful meals at the brewery.”

“Every time I walk through the door at South Gate Brewing Company, I feel the warmth of this community. It is more than just a place to get a great meal and an amazing brew. It’s part of what makes you love Oakhurst.”

The event will feature live music from Boha and Trey Tosh. There will also be a variety of traditional German food available, including traditional and vegan bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato salad, and pretzels.

The event’s highlight will be the Stein Holding Competition at 6:00 pm. The winner of the competition will receive major bragging rights plus a deluxe gift basket with more than $250 in local products and gift cards.

“We’re excited to celebrate 10 years of South Gate Brewing Co. with our community,” said Casey Hawkins, owner of South Gate Brewing Company. “We’ve had a lot of fun over the years, and we’re looking forward to making even more memories with our guests at this year’s Oktoberfest party.”
