Melco Resorts & Entertainment has attained an extraordinary triple victory at the 10th MingXing Tea Specialists National Final Competition – Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macau. Melco’s team of specialist tea sommeliers won the competition’s Championship Award while also being granted the Best Team and Best Instructor Awards, showcasing their exceptional prowess in Chinese tea culture and the Company’s commitment to talent development. Melco emerged as competition Champion among a total of 13 teams from across the Greater Bay Area (GBA), and will go on to represent Macau at the upcoming China National Competition.

The 10th MingXing Tea Specialists National Final Competition – Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macau is the most prominent competition for tea sommeliers in the GBA. The theme of this year’s competition is innovation and legacy, aiming to promote traditional tea culture and Chinese tea sommelier career prospects.

Recently, Melco colleagues also participated in the 2023 In-depth Cooperation Cup – Tea Specialist Competition, achieving fifth place and awards of excellence. Three colleagues from the Melco team successfully went on to compete in the competition’s final round of 16 among a total of 87 contestants, being the highest number of participants from any integrated resort operator in Macau.
