Viking newest river ship, the Viking Aton, with a special celebration in Aswan, Egypt.Viking has released its World Cruise Collection 2024-2025 brochure highlighting some of its most popular and previously sold-out ocean world and expedition voyages.

The 98-page online brochure details expedition itineraries from the Longitudinal World Cruises portfolio, which presents an exceptionally diverse Western Hemisphere cruising experience.

The brochure highlight is the 69-day Longitudinal World Cruise V departs Buenos Aires, visiting nine countries and countless cities, historical, and wildlife sites on its itinerary before arriving at its final port of Milwaukee.

The voyage first sails into the cold waters of the Drake Passage to explore Antarctica, where guests are invited to have lunch with onboard scientists and kayak among glaciers. Enjoy the wilderness of tiny Patagonian enclaves, marvel at the majestic Chilean fjords, and admire the imposing landscape of the Andes. Stop to discover the colonial architecture of Lima and travel in the footsteps of the ancient civilisation of the Inca before taking in the engineering ingenuity of the Panama Canal.

“Viking’s longer World Cruises are in high demand, with previous seasons selling out in record time. Our new Longitudinal World Cruises have only one departure annually and offer a one-of-a-kind extraordinary experience for true explorers by combining the best ocean and expedition itineraries into one seamless trip,” said Michelle Black, Viking ANZ Managing Director.

“The Longitudinal World Cruise V is our most exciting yet. No other cruise itinerary presents its guests with so much diversity in nature and wildlife, cultural experiences, value, and comfort, rolled into one.”

Multiple overland excursions are included to the Galápagos and Machu Picchu and a shore excursion to Niagara Falls.

The Longitudinal World Cruise V will depart on the award-winning Viking Octantis on 26 September 2024. Viking’s The Heart of Exploring sale offers savings of up to $4,000 per couple for bookings made before 30 November 2023 or unless sold out prior.

Viking’s World Cruise Collection 2024-2025 brochure is the first time Viking has offered its ocean world and expedition voyages in a convenient single reference for discerning travellers.
