Thredbo’s Village has been transformed into a winter wonderland today as Mother Nature delivers an exciting September snowfall that has covered the mountain in white. Please see imagery & vision HERE.
Thredbo Resort is currently receiving a fresh dumping of snow all the way down to the village as a storm sweeps the Snowy Mountains. Last night, the mountain received a fresh 2cm top-up of snow however the real snow storm came through this morning, covering the mountain in white with no signs of slowing down yet.
The fresh snowfall has delighted guests with a winter wonderland scene throughout the village today as well as getting skiers and snowboarders excited for some fun spring conditions ahead.
With snow continuing to fall all the way down to the village, the experts from Mountain Watch have forecast that Thredbo’s “late season comeback storm” will deliver between 15cm and 25cm today.
Following today’s wild and wintry weather, skiers and snowboarders will be eager to get on the mountain for some fresh turns this weekend as the storm clears over the next few days.
Thredbo’s huge 2023 winter events calendar isn’t finished yet! Next weekend, the highly anticipated final First Base Presented By Canadian Club event of the season will be taking over Alpine Bar on Saturday night. Featuring Aussie DJ legends Sneaky Sound System, the event is set to draw some big numbers to Thredbo to dance under the fireworks after enjoying some fun spring skiing conditions.
