Hamish Reid, the esteemed President of the SITE Foundation and Senior Associate Director at MMGY Hills Balfour, expressed his gratitude. “We are thrilled to have witnessed the fervor and generosity that our sponsors and supporters demonstrated through their contributions. These funds fortify our mission to drive growth within the incentive travel landscape.”

Remarkably, the event’s significance went beyond the realm of business. An outstanding $17,135 USD was contributed to the Kokua Restaurant & Hospitality Fund in West Maui, a poignant response to the destructive wildfires that ravaged the region. This compassion underscored the industry’s solidarity and unwavering commitment to the well-being of communities impacted by unforeseen adversities.

Annette Gregg, the visionary CEO of SITE & SITE Foundation, emphasized the profound influence of the SITE Foundation’s contributions since its inception in the late 1980s. Over $10 million USD has been funnelled into igniting industry growth by nurturing professional development, advancing cutting-edge research, and empowering transformative grants. During SITE Classic, a distinguished panel unveiled two pivotal research projects catalyzed by the SITE Foundation – the groundbreaking inSITEs series and the revolutionary Incentive Travel Index. These initiatives underscored the industry’s reliance on meticulous research to sculpt the contours of incentive travel.

Marco Tabet, the esteemed General Manager of Conrad Punta de Mita, radiated pride as he reflected on hosting the illustrious assemblage of industry virtuosos. “Our devoted team labored tirelessly to orchestrate unforgettable encounters that encapsulated our hallmark attention to detail and opulent luxuries. Conrad Punta de Mita’s grandeur was on full display, a testament to our commitment to excellence.”

SITE Classic, the veritable crown jewel of the SITE Foundation’s fundraising endeavours, demonstrated its continued prowess as the event of choice for forward-thinking industry leaders. The anticipation for next year’s iteration is palpable, as the Fontainebleau Miami Beach is poised to host the event from September 9th to 12th. Mark your calendars for an extravaganza that promises to redefine the horizons of incentive travel!
