To celebrate their Grinchmas in July sailings Carnival Cruise Line has held a series of events to spread the festive joy to their agents and demonstrate the company’s unwavering commitment to its valued travel trade partners.
- A Wintery Grinchmas Long Lunch
In their own twist on the Christmas in July tradition, Carnival treated 20 esteemed Travel Agent partners with an exclusive escape to the picturesque southern highlands. Dressed in their festive finest, agents embarked on a Christmas in July themed bus, decked out in holiday splendour, which transported them to the scenic southern highlands. The day culminated in a sumptuous Christmas in July lunch, where the joy of the season was celebrated in style against the beautiful highlands backdrop.
- A Jovial Day of Grinchmas Fun on Carnival Splendor
Channelling the spirit of fun that defines Carnival, the Grinchmas Ship event saw 50 top travel agents to step aboard the Carnival Splendor – only, this time the ship was transformed into a winter wonderland. Amidst the twinkle of lights, these travel agents enjoyed holiday treats, a ship tour, festive lunch in the Gold Pearl restaurant and the playful presence of the Grinch himself.
- Spreading Joy and charity with a Grinchmas In July Blitz:
Donning their distinctive Carnival Christmas Sweaters and green Grinchmas themed chocolates, Carnival’s Trade Sales Team embarked on a series of Grinchmas themed trade blitzes. Throughout the month of July, they visited over 220 travel agent partners where they not only shared the merriment of ‘Grinchmas in July’ sailings but also spread awareness for the heart-warming ‘Grow The Grinch’s Heart’ campaign, in support of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation, reflecting Carnival’s dedication to both community and partners. Mark Richards, National Sales Manager said “Our Grinchmas in July sailings have afforded us the unique opportunity to get our travel agents in on the festivities with these special events and show how Carnival brings joy to the seas, no matter the season. In doing so, we’ve forged connections and memories, highlighted our dedication to trade partners and had a whole lot of fun along the way!”
Partners who enjoyed the festivities included Flight centre, Helloworld, Itravel, Travel Partners and more. Announced earlier this year, Carnival’s Grinchmas in July sailings have seen Carnival Splendor transformed into a magical winter wonderland until August 31, bringing the best of ‘Christmas in July’ traditions to sea.
