The Reserve Wine Bar & The Reserve Cellar feature over 100 of the world’s best winemakers with 82% scoring *90+ on the international wine score scale and stocks names such as Marchesi Antinori, Armand Rousseau, Château d’Yquem, Château Lafite Rothschild, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Comte De Vogue as well as having one of the largest collections of Champagnes from the famous year of 2008. Also on offer will be bottles collected over three decades and stored in perfect condition at 14 degrees available for purchase by the bottle.
Transforming the ground-floor Lobby Bar into an oenophile’s dream, The Reserve Wine Bar is a brand-new venue for both connoisseurs and the curious to indulge, taste and explore wine.
The innovative Coravin preservation system allows guests to sample up to 50 wines by the glass – no need to commit to a whole bottle – while the state-of-the-art Enomatic rotating dispenser facilitates the discovery of different producers and even magnums with ease.
Ranging from classic vintages to under-the-radar drops, the curated collection is hand-picked by Manager Hans Palandt who is ably assisted by expert sommeliers for customised recommendations.
Mr Palandt has a wealth of viticultural expertise with hands-on experience as both an assistant winemaker at Stokes Wines in South Australia and a sommelier at some of Brisbane’s most lauded fine dining restaurants.
Wander into The Reserve Wine Bar for a complimentary tasting from a rotating weekly list on Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm and enjoy the live jazz from 6:30pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
Elevate your knowledge with a Sommelier Experience for $65 per person for up to 12 people, featuring four personalised wines and small bites plus an additional glass of Champagne, dessert wine or port for an extra $10 per person.
Alternatively, indulge in a sumptuous seasonal high tea, available daily from 10:30am to 2:30pm, with a curated paired wine for each tier of savoury and sweet treats for a memorable culinary journey.
