Perth icon Samuels on Mill is set to host a one-off Wagyu & Wine dinner in collaboration with up-and-coming West Australian winery; Ampersand Estates.
On Saturday the 12th of August, Parmelia Hilton Perth’s flagship dining outlet will play host to a premium wine dinner unlike any of the property’s past instalments.
Completely open to public sale, ticket holders can expect four curated courses profiling Wagyu beef, accompanied by expertly matched local wines from Pemberton-based Ampersand Estate.
Parmelia Hilton Perth has been known for hosting exclusive VIP wine dinners, partnering with big names in local and national winemaking such as Vasse Felix and Cloudburst. Taking a different approach, Wagyu & Wine is available to attend for all meat and wine lovers.
In collaboration with local heroes Ampersand Estate and Rainfall Distillery, Wagyu & Wine is set to be a highlight event of the Plateful Perth program that is taking over the city of Perth for the month of August.
Samuels on Mill Chef de Cuisine Chad Miskiewicz takes the culinary lead on this dining event, carefully selecting optimal Wagyu grades, accompanying flavours and techniques for each course.
Diners can look forward to clear signs of collaboration between Miskiewicz and Ampersand/Rainfall weaved throughout, including Rainfall Distillery gin granita palette cleansers.
Having recently taken home the Hotel Chef of the Year award at the AHA WA Accommodation Awards for Excellence, Chef Chad Miskiewicz is looking forward to showing diners the versatility of Wagyu beef and demonstrating his nearly 20 years of experience to bring each dish to life.
In November, Chef Chad Miskiewicz will attend the AHA National Accommodation Awards for Excellence as a finalist in the National Hotel Chef category for 2023.
