Beloved local Redcliffe venue The Belvedere is excited to announce it is on its last leg of renovations, after undergoing an extensive year-long process.
The renovation project encompasses the entire south side of The Belvedere, resulting in a revamped public bar, gaming room, and indoor dining area. Additionally, a brand-new level 1 lounge bar and dining area will be created, transforming a former function room into a sophisticated space for open dining.
The final phase of these renovations is underway and the venue is also looking to fill approximately 200 job opportunities by its reopening in early November, which is expected to give the local economy a much-needed boost.
Roles including floor staff, bar staff, kitchen staff and management are open for applications.
“We are thrilled to announce the reopening of The Belvedere in November after an extensive renovation period,” said Chris Allison, Queensland Regional Manager at the Lewis Land Group.
“This exciting milestone not only signifies the transformation of our venue but also presents a tremendous opportunity for the local community. With over 200 job positions available, we are dedicated to creating employment opportunities and contributing to the growth and prosperity of the Redcliffe area. We have all types of roles available and are encouraging everyone who is interested in an exciting career in hospitality to apply.”
In order to complete the last stage of the renovation process, the entire venue will close for a period of 8 weeks from Monday 17th July. The venue will reopen, in its skeleton format mid-September, then reopen in its entirety from early November.
“We are embarking on a truly remarkable transformation with The Belvedere’s reopening. Since August 2022 we’ve only had one bar open, but come November, guests can expect to indulge in the delights of five bars, plus a pizzeria and a gelato shop.
“Not only that, but the new areas with sweeping views across Bramble Bay will provide a breathtaking backdrop to complement their dining experience. With an expanded seating capacity, we are thrilled to provide over 1100 seats, a huge increase from the previous 800 – and the current 300 we have available – creating a more spacious and comfortable environment for our valued patrons.
“It’s been a long time coming and we are very much looking forward to reopening the entire venue for our local community.”
The Belvedere invites the community to join in the excitement and stay tuned for further updates as the reopening approaches. The team looks forward to welcoming everyone back to The Belvedere in November for an unforgettable experience that combines tradition with innovation.
