Civic Hotel, Autograph Collection®, an independent boutique hotel in the heart of a new Surrey City Centre, British Columbia, Canada, updates its impressive property with digital signage solutions from Noventri.
Civic Hotel resides in the third tallest building in BC and offers 144 guest rooms, 8,000 SF of flexible, state-of-the-art meeting and event spaces, and premium amenities and services. Their meeting and event facilities include full-service catering, cutting-edge audio/visual equipment and seamless wireless internet.
“We’ve created an awe-inspiring, high-tech hotel, and we strive for excellence in hospitality,” says Kristin Bishop, General Manager of Civic Hotel. “Integrating Noventri Digital Signage technology into our lobby and meeting rooms aligns with our mission to offer the best in guest experience. We love how Noventri’s solution integrates with CI/TY to update our lobby message boards and meeting room displays automatically. This allows us to focus our attention on providing a smooth experience for our guests.”
Included in the digital signage solution are sleek, 15.6” Power over Ethernet (PoE) door displays, that are purpose-engineered and self-contained with integrated advanced hardware. The door displays on the wall outside each event space continuously update the event information and are aesthetically pleasing and color-matched to the existing decor and design. Raised tactile lettering and braille to ensure ADA compliance, eliminate the cost of additional room identifiers, and streamline the guest experience.
“Our cutting-edge technology, combined with the modern sophistication of this stunning hotel, add up to a unique experience for guests,” says David Linetsky, Founder/CEO of Noventri. “The complete Noventri solution with PoE displays ensures efficiency and reliability, making them a smart choice for hotels looking to elevate their guest experience and reduce costs.”
By using ethernet cabling to power the displays, the need for separate plugs and outlets is eliminated. This revolutionary technology provides significant cost savings, avoiding the need for detailed electrical design, permits, licensed electricians, inspections, and other associated costs.
The digital content is powered by Noventri Commander Software, which is a cloud-hosted solution that offers a two-fold approach. The software automatically pulls event information from the property management system, CI/TY, freeing the hotel staff from the burden of manually updating the digital signage throughout the day. Noventri Commander provides an interface that allows hotel staff to quickly and easily update graphical advertisements and custom messages. Noventri Commander communicates with major property management systems in the hospitality industry, including Amadeus Delphi, STS, iVvy, and Opera, as well as CI/TY.
This partnership between Noventri and Civic Hotel was cultivated as part of an initiative assisted by the Maryland Department of Commerce. “It’s always exciting to see this type of progress from our Maryland companies,” said Maryland Commerce Secretary Kevin Anderson. “Fostering international partnerships is something our team strives to provide for businesses throughout the state, and we are happy to have supported Noventri in expanding its global efforts.”
