Australia’s most requested wax figure and one of the world’s biggest pop stars, Harry Styles, will take centre-stage at Madame Tussauds Sydney’s musical artist zone – Sydney Live! on Wednesday 19 July 2023.
One of seven Harry Styles figures simultaneously launched around the globe by Madame Tussauds today, Harry’s Australian figure sports an iconic look made famous at his San Jose performance. He dons an electric pink shirt, hot pink velvet trousers, accessorised with Harry-inspired jewellery and a signature pink feather boa!
He stands in one of Harry’s most joyful poses, with a beaming grin and arms stretched wide, ready to entertain his fans.
The interactive Harry Styles set, new to Sydney Live! invites guests to feel like an icon and step on stage with Harry Styles. It features Harry-esque dress-up items and props, a large screen with animated graphics, a directional speaker and a self-serve camera for guests to create a photo with their hero, inspired by the cover of his album ‘Fine Line’.
Mikayla McGlone, Operations Manager at Madame Tussauds Sydney, said, “Harry Styles has consistently been Australia’s most requested figure! We have received thousands of requests in total, so I’m thrilled that we have made it happen – finally, Harry is in our house!
“We know his die-hard fans will appreciate the attention to detail – his hairstyle, his eyes, skin and lip colouring. Even his tattoos are just perfect!
“We’re especially thrilled our Harry is the only one wearing a plush feather boa, a look fans love to recreate! It will be a delight watching the Harries, visiting Madame Tussauds and going wild for his figure”.
Madame Tussauds’ extensive creative team of 20 skilled artists, including sculptors, colourists, hairdressers, and stylists, contributed to all seven of Harry’s figures, which took approximately six months to create, representing the celebrity in diverse and prominent poses that capture his most iconic looks.
The seven Harry Styles comprise the biggest multi-figure launch undertaken since Lady Gaga globally 12 years ago and can now be seen in Madame Tussauds Sydney, Madame Tussauds Hollywood, Madame Tussauds New York, Madame Tussauds London, Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, Madame Tussauds Berlin and Madame Tussauds Singapore.
To further celebrate the figure launch, Madame Tussauds Sydney is hosting a one-off special event on 21 July 2023, Harry’s House-Party! A 3-hour dance party encouraging guests to dress up, full of Harry Styles hits, in Sydney Live! Harry’s House-Party!
