Vietjet announced today that its A330 aircraft numbered VN-A814 has become its first wide-body plane to feature Vietnam’s tourism symbol “Vietnam – Timeless Charm.” The plane will now embark on a mission to promote Vietnamese tourism.
The livery on the aircraft is part of Vietjet’s sponsorship agreement with the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism to promote and showcase Vietnamese culture and tourism to both domestic and international audiences.
Vietjet currently operates seven A330 aircraft. In 2023, the airline plans to increase the number of A330 aircraft to nine while expanding its overall fleet to a total of 87 aircraft. These efforts aim to solidify the airline’s position as a market leader in terms of passenger volume and operational efficiency.
The wide-body aircraft, registered VN-A814, embarked on its first flight featuring new livery on 12 July 2023. The aircraft will operate on both domestic and international routes including Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, India and Kazakhstan.
Vietjet’s fleet proudly features the colours of`the Vietnamese flag and plays the “Hello Vietnam” song melody to all passengers.
