Celebrity Cruises Unveils Two New Preview Sailings of its newest ship, Celebrity Ascent, launching Winter 2023.Celebrity Cruises has released its 2023 Trade Survey, and is awarding all agents who partake a free $20 through Celebrity’s travel agent loyalty program, Celebrity Rewards.

The survey gives agents the opportunity to tell Celebrity what marketing tools, information and resources they need to effectively sell Celebrity Cruises. To take advantage of this opportunity, all agents need to do is head to: thecelebritycommitment.com.au/2023-trade-survey/, fill out the five-minute, multiple choice survey by 31 August, enter their details and 2000 Rewards points will be automatically applied to their existing Celebrity Rewards account.

Celebrity Rewards points are redeemable for a reloadable Celebrity Rewards Mastercard, or e-gift cards from retailers, including Netflix, Myer and Ticketmaster. Agents can increase their earnings by booking higher categories, regardless of the length of the cruise or sailing date, with the highest number of points earned by booking The Retreat and Galapagos sailings.

Terms and Conditions 

Entrants

1. The Incentive is open to Agents who are residents of Australia and New Zealand and who are over 18 years of age. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request.

2. Employees of RCL Cruises Ltd and/or any of its Group Companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (including any relatives, family members and/or household members) and anyone else professionally associated with this Incentive are expressly excluded from entering.

3. The user must complete the entirety of the “Celebrity Cruises 2023 Trade Pulse Survey” and input the following details when prompted: First Name, Last Name, Email for Celebrity Rewards Account

4. Wholesale and tour operator owners and operators are not eligible to participate in this Incentive.

5. It is a condition of entry that (i) your employer consents to you participating in the Incentive; (ii) all winners must agree to take part in any and all activities determined by the Promoter including, without limitation, any publicity relating to this Incentive.

6.  Agent(s) who have duly complete the entire “Celebrity Cruises 2023 Trade Pulse Survey” during the Incentive Period shall receive their Reward Points in their respective Account by 8 September 2023.

7. Should the Promoter establish that an Agent has breached any of the eligibility and/or entry requirements and/or the Incentive terms and conditions; the Agent will, at the Promoter’s sole discretion, be disqualified from the Incentive.

8. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility and/or liability for any registration that are not validly received and confirmed by the Promoter, regardless of the cause. Late, incomplete, partial and/or invalid registration will not be accepted.

9. In the event that a winner declines the Reward Points, and/or the Promoter is not able to provide the Reward Points to the winners, and/or does not accept the Reward Points, and/or is ineligible or otherwise unable to claim the Reward Points , the winners shall forfeit the Reward Points and the Promoter shall have no liability to the winner(s).

General terms and conditions

10. By entering this Incentive, entrants are considered to have agreed, without limitation, to these terms and conditions and Celebrity Cruises’ Booking Conditions www.celebritycruises.com/guest-terms/australia-english/, conditions of carriage and privacy policy(ies) [Privacy Policy | Celebrity Cruises].

11. The Reward Points are subject to these terms and conditions and the Promoter reserves the right, to amend and/or update, without limitation, these terms and conditions and/or the Celebrity Cruises’ Booking Conditions, conditions of carriage and/or privacy policy(ies) at any time.

12. The winner(s) must submit all the necessary information in the manner prescribed and by the dates prescribed, to be entitled to claim their Reward Points. Failure to provide such information shall entitle the Promoter to withdraw the Reward Points.

13. The fulfilment of the Reward Points will be managed by the Promoter.

14. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:

(i) cancel, suspend and/or modify this Incentive, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this Incentive; 

(ii) reject any entries and/or disqualify any entrants, at any time, if the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion deems that there has been or may be, whether intended or otherwise, any: (a) breach of any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) infringement or potential infringement of any third party rights and/or intellectual property; and/or (c) defamation or potential defamation of any persons, companies, intellectual property, institutions, cultures or similar; and/or (d) offence or potential offence caused, howsoever arising; and/or (e) breach of any laws, regulations, codes (including moral codes), uses, guidelines and/or any other generally accepted etiquette rules required (without limitation) from any internet users, platforms, providers, hosts and/or sites and/or similar.

15. The Reward Points are as described, are not transferable, cannot be amended or varied, have no cash value (and cannot be exchanged for cash) and cannot be re-sold.

16. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the Reward Points and/or substitute any or all of the Reward Points with an alternative Reward Points.

17. The winner(s) may be required to take part in publicity resulting from the Incentive. The Promoter (and its Group Companies) shall be entitled to make use, in any way and/or through any medium, of any comments provided and/or made by the winner(s) including, without limitation, those provided by the winner(s) on any social media sites and/or Celebrity owned marketing channels (including the Celebrity Cruises website), for the benefit of promoting the Promoter and its Group and/or associated companies, subject to the applicable policies of the relevant social media sites and/or marketing channels.

18. In entering the Incentive, entrants agree not to post any detrimental content on any social media platform and/or in any other mediums.

19. The determination and decision of the Promoter on all matters shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into (including as to the winner(s)).

20. The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to: (i) disqualify any entrant, claimant, competitor or their guest whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the Incentive and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (ii) declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including without limitation any error(s) on any website and/or app of the Promoter and/or in any published  materials, regardless of format) and/or where there have been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the Incentive that materially affects the result of the Incentive and/or the number of entrants, claimants and/or the value of claims; (iii) add to or waiver any rules and/or terms and conditions at any time; and/or (iv) cancel the Incentive or any part of it, at any stage, in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

21. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or amend/modify this Incentive and/or the Reward Points, or any part of it and at any time, if any fraud, technical failures, change in applicable law(s) or any other factor beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Incentive, as determined by Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion.

22. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, agents, subcontractors and/or or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for: (i) any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage, cost, compensation and/or other expense which is suffered and/or sustained by any party (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Incentive and/or in accepting and/or using the Reward Points [and/or its contents and/or their ingredients]; and/or (ii) any personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up/accepting the Reward Points , except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter and/or , its employees and, where it is responsible for them, its  agents and/or distributors. The winner(s)’s statutory rights shall not be affected.

23. The winner(s) shall be liable for complying with any fiscal and/or tax requirements (including, without limitation, any benefit-in-kind declarations and/or calculations) and other legal obligations and/or requirements arising out of, or in connection with, the Reward Points.

24. This Incentive shall be subject to the laws of New South Wales and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New South Wales Courts.

Personal Data

25. Any personal information and/or data provided during the Incentive (including, without limitation, the entrant’s name) must be valid, up to date and truthful. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, false or fictitious personal information provided to it.

26. The Promoter shall use the personal data of the Agents for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this Incentive. If entrants wish to receive marketing information from the Promoter, they can opt-in on the Promoter’s website and can opt-out at any time by writing to the Promoter at the address below, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message received. 27. By entering this Incentive, each entrant is providing information to the Promoter who undertakes to process such entrant’s personal details in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation which shall mean in each case to the extent applicable to activities undertaken in connection with the Incentive: (i) Regulation (EU) 2016/679; and (ii) UK GDPR (the “GDPR”) the GDPR as applicable as part of UK domestic law by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and as amended by the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (as amended, Directive 2002/58/EC; (iii) the California Consumer Privacy Act (the “CCPA”) and (iv) any other legislation and/or regulation implementing or made pursuant to them, or which amends, replaces, re-enacts or consolidates any of them, and (v) all other applicable laws relating to processing of personal data, data protection and privacy that may exist in Australia, including, where applicable, the guidance and codes of practice issued by supervisory authorities.

28.  Subject to Celebrity Cruises’ privacy policy and these terms and conditions, the winner(s) title, surname and county: (i) may be announced on the Celebrity Cruises Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram accounts, as well as on its blog and in other marketing material for a period of 6 months following the announcement of the winners of the Incentive; and (ii) can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Marketing Department,  Celebrity Cruises,  Level 15, 101 Miller St, North Sydney NSW 2060 within 30 days of the Closing Date. By entering into the Incentive, the winner(s) agree to their details being shared for this purpose.
