6 Sets of twin lambs born at Ewe Nique Hobby Farm
Winter is baby season for the Ewe Nique Hobby Farm. Already there’s been 11 born in June , two late May and another one earlier in the month. The total includes 6 sets of twins. And that means visitors to the hobby farm can cuddle the adorable babies!

Cute cria comes early
The first baby llama of the 2023 breeding season has come early for The Llama Farm. The little girl was born on Saturday July 8 and is called Paris. She is a little sister to brothers Louis and Napoleon.

New wellness day retreat launched
The Soul Nook Collective has launched a new wellness retreat with tickets going on sale this month. The Soothe The Soul Wellness Day Retreat will be held on August 26. Love and Thyme Ayurveda will be available on the day to guide you through the basics and offer advice to stay balanced. There will also be yoga, Pilates, massage, tarot card workshop, craft and more on the day. Participants can book in for up to five sessions on the day, with tickets costing $150.

Paint splat room open for business
Sip ‘n’ Dip have opened new paint splat rooms and spin and swing rooms, so you can get messy while creating. The sessions run for 30 minutes per attendee, include paint bombs, paint pots and the ability to choose what music you want to jam to while splatting and twirling. Sip ‘n’ Dip are also offering NDIS sessions. Founder Janna Brown said the sessions are a fun, safe way to express yourself and support positive mental health.

The Phantom of the Opera comes to Ipswich
The Ipswich Musical Theatre Company is currently rehearsing The Phantom of the Opera, which will hit the stage from September 9 -17. Phantom is the longest running Broadway show of all time, having opened in 1988. The epic Andrew Lloyd Webber masterpiece was performed 13,981 times at Broadway’s Majestic Theatre until it closed on April 16, 2023. But you don’t have to travel to New York to be inspired by this powerful musical. See the thrilling and romantic account of the legendary Phantom, a musical genius who dwells deep beneath a majestic opera house in Paris here in Ipswich with Nathan Kneen as Phantom and Bryleigh Parsons-Pope as Christine.

Imbibis Craft Distillery launch two new liqueurs
Davidson’s Plum and Date liqueurs have been added to the range on offer at Imbibis Craft Distillery. Both have been made using secret recipes with plums picked from the distillers’ own backyard and dates grown in Charleville. Imbibis also stocks limecello, rum, gin and brandy! Taste tests can be had on Fridays from 10am-6pm or by appointment other days.
