As a pioneer in sustainable hospitality, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its groundbreaking Eco-Wellness programme to transform guests’ experiences by integrating wellbeing, sustainability, and biophilic design. The initiative marks a revolutionary shift in hospitality, with the brand offering immersive multi-sensorial experiences focused on enhancing well-being through the five senses – scent, sound, sight, taste, and touch.
This move aligns with the increasing global trend towards mindful living and sustainable choices. “Today’s consumers are growing more aware of the importance of better health and wellbeing. It is essential that we take time to re-center and practice greater mindfulness. Even small changes in our daily lives can have a big impact on our wellbeing and the environment,” stated Ms. Cinn Tan, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Pan Pacific Hotels Group, the parent organization of PARKROYAL COLLECTION.
PARKROYAL COLLECTION’s innovative Eco-Wellness programme takes a holistic approach to wellbeing. At the forefront is an iconic biophilic design philosophy that fuses natural elements with built environments, enhancing the connection between individuals and nature. In addition, the programme features a sound design that augments the biophilic atmosphere, curated public art showcases, and optimized wellness activities and spa experiences. All these elements work harmoniously to promote relaxation, rejuvenation, and eco-conscious living.

The brand’s signature scent is integral to the Eco-Wellness experience, a harmonious blend of rosebush, lavender, green vetiver, and warm white cedarwood. This aroma, carefully selected to create a calming atmosphere, greets guests as they enter any PARKROYAL COLLECTION hotels, complementing the tranquil sound design and visually striking public art showcases.
The programme also introduces the “Sleep Ritual for Restful Sleep”. This service aims to enhance the quality of sleep – a crucial component of well-being – using natural aromatic herbs. Freshly harvested from the brand’s Urban Farm, herbs such as thyme, bergamot lime, mint, and rosemary are part of the new Sleep Ritual turndown service. A scented pillow pouch infused with natural essential oils, created in collaboration with the homegrown brand FLO, adds a soothing touch to the bedtime routine.
Moreover, the Eco-Wellness programme promotes conscious dining and mindful drinking experiences. With a solid commitment to sustainability, the hotels curate dishes from locally sourced fresh produce and farm-to-table harvests, offering a guilt-free dining experience that celebrates robust flavours and aesthetic presentations.
Complementing the food offerings, are cocktails and mocktails made with ingredients freshly picked from the hotel’s Urban Farm, highlighting the brand’s dedication to freshness and authenticity. This commitment to sustainable hospitality extends to the brand’s Urban Farms at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore, and PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Urban Farms, in partnership with renowned agricultural organisations Edible Garden City Urban Farms, B.2 Designs, and Amy World Resources, supply the hotels with unique farm-to-table, farm-to-bar, and farm-to-spa experiences. For instance, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore’s Urban Farm, grows more than 60 varieties of herbs, vegetables, and greens, supplying up to 20% of the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and spa’s green ingredients.
This groundbreaking initiative reaffirms PARKROYAL COLLECTION’s commitment to leading the way in sustainable hospitality, reflecting an innovative approach to well-being and environmental consciousness. PARKROYAL COLLECTION is creating a new benchmark in luxury hospitality by fusing sustainability, biophilic design, and personal wellness into an all-encompassing guest experience.
