Welcome to essence, the soul of Peregian Beach, a new boutique hotel and collection of beach homes nestled on the edge of the Noosa National Park and just a short stroll to the clear waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Sitting on the last remaining pocket of paradise on the Sunshine Coast, essence is a new take on coastal resort luxury that is set to make the chic village of Peregian Beach a vibrant tourism destination not to be missed.

Nature runs through the veins of essence, with the design mix of the 32-room boutique hotel and collection of 20 architecturally designed beach homes all centred around the *UNESCO-listed Biosphere that serves as the property’s backdrop.

The picturesque charms of Peregian Beach, just 11kms south of Noosa, have been reserved for those in the know until now but with the opening of essence, the secret is out.

Salty air and sandy toes are what a holiday at essence is all about, without missing out on any of the indulgent details you’d expect from a world-class property.

From your hotel balcony, laze in the Insta-worthy hanging basket chair and watch the sun set over the treetops or gather groups of friends and family at one of the beautifully appointed beach homes, some featuring their own private magnesium pool, for a holiday that cherished family memories are made of.

A special events/conferencing space packed with the latest tech, that can also stylishly serve as a location for an intimate wedding for up to 80, also forms part of the essence assets, along with a boardroom/private dining room for 16.

Two gorgeously designed guest pools, one with a pool bar that features essence’s signature botanical tiled artwork, is the perfect place to salute the sunset with a cocktail in hand.

Outer Square, the popular Peregian Beach dining venue, will serve as the hotel’s food and beverage offering.

General Manager of essence, Damien Larkin, said essence would set the bar for luxury accommodation in Peregian Beach and provide an opportunity for visitors to explore the best of what the area has to offer.

“We are so excited to be bringing a resort of this calibre to Peregian Bach, essence is set to make a huge mark on the Sunshine Coast tourism scene, not only for providing a first-of-its-kind resort to the area but for championing local arts and craftspeople and providing dozens of new job opportunities and experiences for locals,” he said.

Engaging the cream of local arts and design has been a big part of the passion of bringing essence to life with a number of talented Sunshine Coast based creative business involved across the property. From the development of a signature scent used in the hotel amenities by local aromatherapy company, Botanist Aromatherapy, to the stylish team uniform exclusively designed for essence by Sunshine Coast label LILYA and the original artworks commissioned from local artists such as Emma Nancarrow, Colin Passmore and young digital artist Soren Kearney, found throughout the resort.

At the heart of Peregian Beach’s attractions is an eclectic and chic shopping and dining precinct, The Village at Peregian Beach, located just across the road from essence, where the restaurants and boutiques punch well above their weight. This village may look relaxed, but they take their dining, homewares, and fashion very seriously with acclaimed restaurants such as Periwinkle and Pitchfork along with exquisitely curated lifestyle boutiques such as Bedouin Traders, all calling The Village at Peregian Beach home.

A patrolled and pristine beach is one of the main natural attractions of the area.  Guests can be from their bed at essence to the beach at Peregian in under five minutes on foot.
