As the winter holidays kick off, Dreamworld will once again transform the Gold Coast into the Cold Coast with its Winterfest activation, taking place from 24 June – 16 July.
Turning Main Street into a glittery, snow-covered passageway, Winterfest will see the park become a winter wonderland, with free and paid activities, entertainment and food and drinks all inspired by the cooler weather.
With a real ice-skating rink installed in the Dreamworld Exhibition Centre, an ice slide for tobogganing fun included with entry and even an arctic walkthrough experience for the little ones, there’s so much joy to add to your Dreamworld day this winter.
Aside from rides, entertainment, wildlife and all the added Winterfest activities, guests can also enjoy incredible winter-themed food and beverage options throughout the activation, from European hot chocolate to Belgian waffles, pretzels, German sausages and more.
Plus, guests already in the park on Fridays and Saturdays can hang back for free to enjoy Dreamworld Night Market, with extra entertainment and added food trucks to get you warmed up on those winter evenings from 5 – 9PM.
Dreamworld CEO, Greg Yong, looks forward to welcoming guests to make new winter memories at Dreamworld these holidays.
“Gold Coast winters are arguably one of the best in the world, so we love giving guests the opportunity to experience a little bit of a ‘real’ winter at Dreamworld while enjoying those perfect Gold Coast temps,” said Mr Yong.
“Whether you’re a family looking for a value-packed day out or seeking some thrills, Dreamworld is the perfect place to visit this winter. Take on a coaster, catch a show, enjoy delicious winter food, and even go ice skating!”
Winterfest is free with Dreamworld entry and taking place from 24 June – 16 July across both Queensland and interstate school holidays. Locals Annual Passholders can redeem one free ice-skating session. Visit dreamworld.com.au to find out more and buy tickets.
