MSC Cruises has today announced that Lisa Teiotu has been appointed Managing Director of its Australasia business, overseeing local operations and commercial activities, as well as developing a further growth strategy.

Lisa joined MSC Cruises in November 2019, as  Sales Director, a role in which she was responsible for the commercial development of the Company’s Australia and New Zealand  business.  Prior to this she was the Head of Business Development for Australia and New Zealand at Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Angelo Capurro, Sales Executive Director of MSC Cruises commented: “With a plethora of industry expertise, the appointment of Lisa Teiotu to lead MSC Cruises’ business across Australia and New Zealand will further strengthen relationships with the local trade to maximize together opportunities to grow the presence of local consumers to the overall guest mix on board both our current and future fleet.” 

In line with this announcement, Michelle Warren has been appointed Marketing Manager of its Australasia business.  Michelle joined MSC Cruises in March 2022, as Marketing Executive and has been instrumental in continually increasing the effectiveness of the Australian and New Zealand marketing.

The announcements are in line with MSC Cruises’ growth plan of 23 new next-generation ships by 2025, which will strengthen the lines position as the market leader in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Southern Africa.
