Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International AirportKiwis keen for a last-minute winter escape overseas are being encouraged to snap up fares in Grabaseat’s King’s Birthday sale.

More than 10,000 seats will go on sale from today, so New Zealanders can jump on board with last-minute travel in June and July.

Air New Zealand’s General Manager Short Haul Airline Jeremy O’Brien says with 14 destinations across Australia and the Pacific Islands to choose from, there is something for every type of traveller.

“Customers can ditch the winter woolies and swap scarves for sarongs, as we have more than 2,000 seats available to our Pacific Islands destinations alone. New Zealanders can be snorkeling in the tropical waters of Rarotonga or sunbathing by the pool in Fiji within a fortnight for as little as $259 one way.”

For those wanting to jump across the Tasman, flights to Sydney will start at $195, while tickets to Melbourne can be snapped up for $215 one way – some of the lowest fares offered post-pandemic.

Mr O’Brien says customers who want to embrace spontaneity should get in quick – these awesome fares won’t last long!

The sale runs from today until 23:59 Saturday 3 June unless sold out prior.
