Firstly, there’s the much-anticipated limited-edition pyjama and amenity kit in collaboration with prominent Australian fashion designer Rebecca Vallance. Business Class passengers will be treated to navy sleeper suits adorned with a monogram of the Qantas “Roo,” Rebecca Vallance’s logo, and a bespoke New York heart design unique to this route. A tailored Rebecca Vallance amenity kit will replace the current Koskela kit on these flights. For fans and collectors alike, a limited quantity of these chic PJ and amenity kit sets will be available on the Qantas Marketplace.

Thrilled about the partnership, Vallance stated, “It’s an honour to partner with the iconic Australian brand, Qantas. We’ve designed this one-off collection inspired by New York’s sophistication and style.”

Additionally, Vallance created two unique couture gowns as part of the collaboration, offering Qantas Frequent Flyers the chance to win these designer dresses and a personalised fitting session.

Taste of New York Above the Clouds

The Qantas’ in-flight menu also sees a refresh under the creative direction of renowned Neil Perry. Perry is stirring up an ensemble of New York-inspired dishes to serve the passengers a bit of the city’s culinary magic even before they land.

“New York is one of the culinary capitals of the world. We’re using some incredible Australian produce to recreate some of New York’s most famous food experiences,” says Perry. The refreshed menu, with tempting items like New York-style spaghetti and meatballs, Reuben sandwich, and New York-style baked cheesecake, will surely tantalize passengers’ taste buds.

And that’s not all. To celebrate the launch of this new route, Qantas’ First Lounges in Sydney and Melbourne, along with the Auckland International Lounge, will feature a New York-inspired ‘Dish of the Day’ for the entire month of June.

In a nutshell, Qantas is not just reopening a popular route; they’re redefining luxury in the skies and bringing the essence of New York City to their passengers in the most memorable ways. The journey promises to be as exciting as the destination, from fashion to food.

As the wings of Qantas spread across the Pacific again, one can only look forward to the wonders they are set to unfurl. To the city that never sleeps, Qantas is ready to take off!
