Mr. Lawrence Ho, Chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said, “Melco continues to prioritize initiatives for women to support diversity and inclusion. Our ‘Best I Can Be’ philosophy continues to encourage women to embrace life’s choices to bring out the best in themselves. With mental wellness becoming an ever-more prominent societal issue being faced by an increasing number of people, Melco is proud to be the first and only integrated resorts operator to provide in-house psychological development sessions to our colleagues.
“Over the last few years, the Feel Better Mental Wellness Programs in partnership with the Women’s Association offer an average of four monthly mental health workshops, a total of 88 seminars for our colleagues to help them recognize the importance of mental wellness, and now, we are planning to bring the workshops to our colleagues’ families and the community. Post-workshop surveys indicate that participants benefitted from the sessions by picking up tools to help support their psychological health, as well as learning how to access mental health support resources confidentially. We are also pleased to continue working with Women’s Association to celebrate the virtues of women and maternal and family values through our Best Mom Award.”
