Qatar Airways has been recognised by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) for successfully demonstrating the application of ISO 55001:2014 Asset Management System under a two-stage audit conducted by TUV SU (Technical Inspection Association). Additionally, achieving ISO 41001 certification underpins the high standard of Facilities and Asset Management which is one of the foundations of a 5-star airline.
The airlines’ ‘end-to-end’ management service encompasses building maintenance for a diverse portfolio of leased and owned assets in hundreds of residential buildings with thousands of units, as well as, associated plant, equipment and movable assets including furniture and appliances.

ISO 55001:2014 and ISO 41001:2018 are the international standards providing a management framework for lifecycle Asset Management System and Facilities Management System, respectively. The standards define the principles and/or requirements for compliance and certification which include planning, acquisition, risk and change management, maintenance management, repairs, return and/or disposal of assets (wherever applicable), monitoring and continuous evaluation of performance.
