Thailand’s leading B2B travel industry show, the Thailand Travel Mart Plus (TTM+) 2023, is set to take place from May 31 to June 2 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok. This year’s event will showcase the country’s sustainable and meaningful tourism efforts, aligning with the “Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters” campaign.
The TTM+ 2023 is expected to attract more than 850 participants, including 350 buyers from 50 countries, 400 sellers from all five regions of Thailand, and 100 local and international media. The event will feature pre- and post-tour programs highlighting experience-based tourism activities and promoting Thai cultural values through the 5F soft-power foundations of Food, Film, Festival, Fight, and Fashion.
According to Mr Yuthasak Supasorn, TAT Governor, “This year’s TTM+ will present how we elevate supply and sustainable standards while leveraging the kingdom’s 5F soft-power foundations to maintain tourists’ confidence in Thailand as a preferred destination.” The event will also showcase TAT’s strategy to transform Thai tourism into “Smart Tourism” by leveraging technology and innovation.
The TTM+ 2023 will feature a range of programs, including an opening ceremony, a Thailand product update, a TTM Talk for buyers and media, onsite appointment sessions, a welcome reception, and a product update on the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS). The event will also offer buyer/seller appointments, a networking lunch, and a business networking happy hour.
In addition, the TAT is hosting the Amazing Thailand Culinary City event alongside the TTM+ 2023, highlighting the country’s rich culinary heritage.
As Thailand’s tourism industry recovers from the pandemic, events like the TTM+ 2023 are crucial in promoting sustainable and meaningful tourism. The country’s efforts towards this direction will benefit the tourism industry, promote responsible travel, and preserve the country’s rich cultural heritage for future generations.
