On Sunday May 7, Road to Rodeo Mount Isa will take over the famous Buchanan Park Events Complex with action all afternoon and into the night, and a Rodeo Rock concert headlined by legendary Australian artist and Cold Chisel member Ian Moss plus Shannon Noll and Mount Isa favourite, Luke Geiger! With just three weeks to go, organisers are calling on riders to nominate NOW!
Rodeo events will include Bull Ride, Saddle Bronc Ride, Bareback Bronc Ride, Team Roping, Barrel Race, Steer Wrestling, Rope & Tie, Breakaway Roping and Poddy Calf events as well as the crowd favourite, the Op Shop Barrel Race! Nominations are open for all events here

Road to Rodeo is an event series from Isa Rodeo Limited, the producers of the legendary Mount Isa Mines Rodeo and the Mount Isa Mines Indigenous Rodeo Championships, to be staged across Queensland. This series of events brings a taste of the legendary Mount Isa Mines Rodeo experience into Queenslander’s own backyards featuring the signature ingredients of this iconic event, including thrilling rodeo action and live Rodeo Rock.
