Carnival Luminosa departed Brisbane, Australia, and will embark on a 23-day transpacific sailing, visiting New Caledonia and Fiji, crossing the International Dateline, and visiting Tahiti and Hawaii before docking at the Port of Seattle on May 4. This marks the first time Carnival Luminosa will sail in U.S. waters since joining the fleet in November 2022. Carnival Spirit will depart Miami for a 16-day cruise to Seattle on Sunday, stopping at destinations such as Santa Marta and Cartagena, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and cruising through the Panama Canal.

From Seattle, Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Spirit, along with their sister ship, Carnival Miracle, will sail a total of 49 Alaskan cruises ranging from six- to fourteen-day sailings to port favourites like Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, and the scenic cruising of Tracy Arm Fjord or Endicott Arm Fjord.

Carnival Pride departed Tampa on a 13-day transatlantic sailing to Barcelona, Spain, where it will undergo refurbishments, including the addition of the stunning new Carnival livery – a red, white and blue hull design. The ship will also feature enhancements to its steakhouse, which will be rebranded as Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and span two decks, a Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge and an upgraded Cloud 9 Spa and Fitness Center.

Carnival Legend will operate 17 European sailings next year, offering diverse and spectacular destinations between two transatlantic sailings – with a spring departure cruise from Baltimore, M.D. to Barcelona, Spain, and a 15-day return trip in the fall from Civitavecchia to Tampa, Fla.

“Guests on board Carnival Luminosa have thoroughly enjoyed all the extraordinary experiences of sailing from Australia, visiting pristine beaches and taking in the local culture. Now, our fantastic shipboard crew members have a great opportunity to share this beautiful ship with even more guests for a new series of unforgettable cruises across Alaska,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
