Crooked Compass recently hosted a perspective-shifting agent famil to Northern Pakistan. The niche travel brand challenges curious and sophisticated travellers to think differently about destinations not commonly found on bucket-lists.
Highlights of the tour included: spending time in the Kalash Valley with one of the world’s most fragile and remote minority tribes; trekking to Fairy Meadows, one of the most beautiful places in northern Pakistan known as Heaven on Earth; experiencing a local match of wild polo; travelling on the Karakorum Highway, the world’s highest paved road; visiting remote mountain villages; and hiking to several isolated glaciers.
The group was hosted by Crooked Compass Founder, Lisa Pagotto, and included Brett Jardine from CATO; Melanie Harrop, Kathy Millett and Camilla Manson from TravelManagers; Jacqui Vincent from MTA Travel; Becky Kent-Perchalla from Perchalla and Turner Travel Associates; and Malcolm Hyslop from Wye and James Travel Associates.
