Priority Pass, owned by Collinson, has announced the expansion of its paid-for Airport Takeout service, offering a seamless food ordering experience to over 14 million members. Food and beverage outlets have grown by 65%, providing convenient takeaway ordering from over 485 outlets at 44 airports in the US and UK, including popular destinations such as Los Angeles International and London Heathrow.
Airport Takeout caters to various dietary requirements and global cuisines, including Vegan, Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, and dishes devised by celebrity chefs for finer dining outlets. The service is powered by Servy, an enterprise self-service hospitality platform that lets members select and pay for food and beverage orders through the Priority Pass app. Members must be logged into the app, and the service is not redeemable as an entitlement.
Christopher Evans, Joint CEO of Collinson, stated that the expanded Airport Takeout service is part of the company’s goal to deliver a range of digitally-enabled travel experiences that enhance members’ journeys at every touchpoint. The service caters to a growing demand from travellers for digital solutions that speed up the airport journey and make the travel experience more seamless and convenient.
Jeff Livney, Founder and CXO of Servy, said that the company is excited about the future and continuing to work with Collinson to develop digital experiences and contactless solutions that will be more convenient for travellers and maximise value for airport and hospitality partners.
The expansion of Airport Takeout underscores Collinson’s expansion of the travel experiences offered alongside its portfolio of airport lounges within the Priority Pass programme. The programme includes a lounge, sleep, retail, spa, fitness, F&B and travel services such as car hire and airport transfers.
In conclusion, the expansion of Priority Pass’s Airport Takeout service offers a convenient food ordering experience to millions of members, catering to their unique preferences and dietary requirements. As travel continues to evolve, Collinson and Servy’s partnership in developing digital experiences and contactless solutions will undoubtedly benefit the travel industry and enhance the overall travel experience for consumers.
