Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program, is the preferred hotel partner of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and the presenting partner of the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge for the fourth year running. The partnership is set to provide indulgent hospitality, access to premium views of all the adrenaline-fueled racing action and exclusive access to unmatched experiences for members and guests on and off the track.

The Marriott Bonvoy Lounge will be a blend of Marriott International’s world-renowned service and luxury design, taking guests into a world of personalised experiences. Throughout the race weekend, Marriott Bonvoy will host members, VIPs and a series of special guests offering immersive money-can’t-buy experiences and a behind-the-scenes view of the world’s most technically advanced motorsport race.

Florencia Aimo, Senior Area Director of Marketing – Australia, New Zealand & Pacific for Marriott International said: “Marriott Bonvoy will be turning on a showcase of curated hospitality experiences at this year’s Formula 1 to complement the electrifying atmosphere of the world’s richest motorsport event. We will be serving premium food and wine offerings in a luxury setting as guests enjoy the adrenaline rush of high-speed racing and the opportunity to access the world-famous track and motor pits to mingle with the superstars of the F1.”

Designed to encapsulate the essence of Marriott’s suite of Melbourne properties, the design of the lounge will include plush seating options, multiple bars with premium food and beverage offerings, Marriott’s world-class anticipatory service, enhanced colour palettes and ambient music to give the space a warm and inviting feel.

The lounge is located at the gateway to the Paddock Club and pit lanes, where guests will not only have views of Melbourne walk and the city skyline through floor to ceiling windows, but also gain access to a viewing deck for top-tier visibility of the race track itself. In addition, increased technology incorporated throughout the lounge, including a number of high-resolution LED screens, means guests will be immersed in live-stream content within the comfort of the lounge.

Many elements of the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge are being repurposed and utilised from previous events – a key part of Marriott’s commitment to achieving their 2025 Sustainability and Social Impact Goals under the Serve360 program. As a business, Marriott is committed to creating positive and sustainable impact wherever they do business. The Formula 1 is no exception, with the walls and façade from the hospitality suite at the Australian Open being transformed and reused to create a 12-metre bar on the main floor of the Marriott Bonvoy Lounge.

Guests and members of Marriott Bonvoy will also have access to exclusive Formula 1 events such as the highly anticipated Glamour On The Grid – an exclusive invite-only cocktail party on the racetrack attended by Australia’s A-List talent spanning sport, fashion and culture, held prior to the racing weekend. Other experiences include the Pit Lane walk, providing an opportunity for guests to get up close and personal in the garages while the cars are being prepared for the race, with the added opportunity to meet some of the international superstars of the F1 circuit. An in-house mixologist and premium menu offerings will complete the Lounge offering.

Marriott Bonvoy’s incredible line up of experiences over the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2023 aim to fuel the passions of its members, offering money-can’t-buy opportunities, access to the lounge and racing experiences that are truly unmissable.
