Eswatini AirEswatini Air has officially announced its flight schedule, fares, and reservation systems, bringing an end to the long wait for the commencement date of its flights. The launch heralds a new chapter in the country’s travel and tourism industry, with access set to be at a level never seen before.

As a brand-new airline operation, Eswatini Air is taking a cautious approach to ensure a smooth entry into the market. The airline is introducing its service in four phases, with the first phase set to commence on March 26, 2023. During the first phase, Eswatini Air will launch King Mswati III International (SHO) to Johannesburg (JNB) flights, operating two flights per day – an early morning rotation and a late afternoon rotation.

In phase two, Harare (HRE) will be added to the schedule, offering four flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Phase three includes the addition of Durban (DUR) to the schedule, offering a flight each day of the week. The final launch phase, phase four, will see Cape Town added to the route network, operated three times per week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The reservations and ticketing system are now open for bookings and ticket purchases via email, telephone, website, visiting their customer service centre located at Ground Floor, Shops 6; 7 & 8, Manzini Junction, Manzini, Kingdom of Eswatini, or contacting a travel agent. Travel agency-based bookings are also accessible via their partners APG Airlines (A1) and Hahn Air.

Eswatini Air is committed to ensuring that air travel inbound and outbound of Eswatini is affordable to all. The airline’s resolution, as expressed in its “Everyone Must Fly” slogan, is to invite all prospective clients to book and fly with the airline for all their travels in and out of the Kingdom. Launch special fares are also on offer for one-way flights inclusive of taxes ranging from SZL 1,300.00 on flights between Eswatini and Johannesburg or Durban, SZL 2,100.00 on flights between Eswatini and Cape Town, and SZL 2,200.00 on flights between Eswatini and Harare.

Eswatini Air’s flight schedule is designed to offer connections via its hub, King Mswati III International Airport, for travellers between Durban and Harare, as well as between Johannesburg and Harare.
