The Australian Hotels Association (WA) has revealed the finalists of the 2023 AHA Perth Airport Accommodation Awards for Excellence, with the high quality of those competing underscoring WA’s extraordinary accommodation industry.
AHA(WA) CEO Bradley Woods said there was fierce competition across all award categories, demonstrating the strength of WA’s accommodation sector.
“It is fantastic to be able to recognise WA’s leading hotels and their extraordinary staff through WA’s most prestigious accommodation awards program,” Mr Woods said.
“For the first time in four years, these awards can be celebrated without the pandemic casting a cloud over the industry.”
“The past 12 months have been incredibly rewarding and refreshing for WA’s hotel industry, with hotels in Perth and regional WA enjoying occupancy levels that are on par with, or exceeding, 2019 levels.”
“WA’s accommodation industry is positioned well to accommodate a strong rebound in tourism and we have seen hotels enjoy the benefits of a suite of blockbuster events in Perth.”
“The Accommodation Awards for Excellence provide us with an opportunity to reflect on the incredible hotels that are found across WA, along with the unwavering commitment of their dedicated staff.”
The 2023 AHA Perth Airport Accommodation Hotel Awards for Excellence will be presented at the Devil’s Lair Gala Ball at Crown Perth on 3 April 2023.
