Malaysia Airlines has announced it will add two additional flights between Auckland International Airport (AKL) and KL International Airport (KUL) on 17 and 18 February 2023 to assist passengers who were impacted by the recent flight cancellations.
Customers wishing to travel from AKL to KUL can book their seat on MH130 and MH133 which is scheduled to depart at the flight times listed below as per the Malaysia Airlines’ official website.

MH133 is scheduled to operate on 17 February 2023 as follows.

Concurrently, Malaysia Airlines is re-booking tickets for affected passengers onto new additional flights and issuing new tickets where required. Any affected passengers who are yet to receive their new ticket within 24-hours are encouraged to contact Malaysia Airlines’ Global Contact Centre at 1 300 88 3000 (within Malaysia) or +603 7843 3000 (outside Malaysia) or Malaysia Airlines’ New Zealand Office +0800 777 747 (within New Zealand). Passengers may also check their booking status online via the ‘Manage My Booking’ on the Malaysia Airlines website.
Alternatively, affected Malaysia Airlines’ passengers are entitled to either request a full refund of their ticket on the remaining sectors or make a once off change-of-date at no extra charge for travel within 30 days based on seat availability. Requests can be made through the Malaysia Airlines Contact Centre or via the ‘Manage Booking’ tab on the website. Meanwhile, customers who have purchased tickets through travel agents may also request a refund direct from their agent.
