Paka, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of alpaca outerwear, celebrates the launch of its award-winning PAKAFILL® lightweight puffer jacket with an experiential outdoor activation in Park City, scheduled for 3 pm -5 pm on Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 at the Hyatt Centric in Park City. Paka plans to give away more than 100 pairs of alpaca socks from its Fall/Winter 2022/2023 collection to keep consumers warm on the slopes. By merging functionality with sustainability, Paka provides an alternative in performance-based clothing for consumers to make better choices for the environment’s well-being and their own.
“Sourced directly from the Peruvian Andes, our alpaca fiber comes from animals that roam free in their natural environment. Paka will then choose 100 consumers from the posts to receive the socks voted “Best Après Ski Sock” by Outside Magazine. As part of the Paka Park City activation, in addition to hot chocolate, guests can feed, pet, and take Instagram pics with Paka’s two loveable Alpacas on the Hyatt Centric grounds.
