Art and Entertainment visionaries ENVISEAM, and Jay Chou, the King of Mandopop, have announced a world-first art collaboration to be held at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands. Following on from Jay Chou’s two-day Carnival World Tour engagement in the Lion City, ENVISEAM will present a unique installation of a number of Jay’s favourite art works entitled Art Colure with Artistes Curated by Jay. The exhibition kicks off with a VIP opening night on December 19th and will be open to the public from December 20th to December 29th.
ENVISEAM Founder and CEO, Jazz Li, explained the genesis for the event. “Jay has been interested in art from a young age and his Singapore concert offered a fantastic opportunity to showcase Jay’s interest in art alongside his amazing music that has captured the hearts of millions. His latest music album is entitled Greatest Works of Art and his tour presents a perfect chance to share with the public a selection of art works personally curated by Jay.”
Announcing the event, Jay Chou stated, “I’m thrilled to be able to collaborate with ENVISEAM and Marina Bay Sands to stage Art Colure with Artistes Curated by Jay at the integrated resort. We chose the theme of an “Exhibition Prelude” because I wanted to offer a “prelude” to a larger show we are planning for 2023. The exhibition reflects a sampling of my personal taste in art and is designed to introduce more people to the world of fine art and art collecting, immersing audiences in a deeper experience of arts and culture.”
The exhibition will feature works from world-renowned artists including Anselm Kiefer, Gerhard Richter, Mark Bradford, KAWS, FUTURA and Jahan Loh amongst others.
Jazz Li added that given ENVISEAM’s mission to bring new perspectives into the world to elevate cultural understanding, the choice of the megastar as curator was an easy one. “Jay Chou’s passion for art and talent as a collector is well-known internationally. Jay is committed to making art more accessible to a wider audience. Sharing his love for art, and encouraging his fans and followers to appreciate art, is what he cares about most. That’s why ENVISEAM has created this Exhibition Prelude to share a curated selection of Jay’s personal taste in art to the world and the stories behind them.”

Jay will be offering his own perspectives on the artworks, and engaging with other celebrities and artists. One of Jay’s Favourite Living Artists Jahan LOH will be in attendance to showcase his artworks. They will be joined at the Gala opening by a stellar line-up of Jay’s friends and fellow celebrities who share his passion for art. As Jay said “I hope we can welcome as many curious minds as possible to join me in my journey of art collecting, alongside the appreciation of my music.”
