Amidst a successful return to sailing for the brand in Australia and New Zealand, Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a new local sales team structure to provide even more support to trade partners. The new structure provides broader coverage across Australia and New Zealand through the creation of four new roles, and dedicated teams to support key account partners as well as the broader retail network. The new structure and growing team further reinforces The Celebrity Commitment to provide access to real people, arm agents with real solutions and invest in real tools to support trade partners in the comeback and beyond.
Cameron Mannix continues to lead the team as Director of Sales for Celebrity Cruises in Australia and New Zealand, overseeing trade operations and strategy for the brand, and is proud to manage the growing sales team in Australia and New Zealand.
“Our sales team are the backbone of The Celebrity Commitment, devoted to rebuilding the local cruise industry alongside our valued trade partners,” said Cameron, “The new sales team structure is designed to better support our partners to achieve even more success in 2023 and beyond, because when our travel partners win, we all win together.”
Reporting to Cameron as the new Head of Sales is Trevor Thwaites, who will focus on nurturing and developing the retail/wholesale networks. Trevor brings a wealth of knowledge and cruise industry experience through his previous roles with Oceania and Princess Cruises and will lead the newly restructured retail sales team.
Providing on-the-ground support for front line agents across Australia and New Zealand is the expanded strategic sales team of:
- Jessica Jones, Strategic Sales Manager – NSW
- Hannah Taylor, Strategic Sales Manager – VIC, TAS, SA and New Zealand
- Maggie Silvia, the newly appointed Strategic Sales Manager – QLD, WA
To better support the Online Travel Agents (OTA) network and packaging agents, Fiona Heron has been promoted to Senior Sales Manager. Queensland based, Fiona will provide dedicated support to a growing segment of industry partners with unique needs. Supporting Fiona in the newly created Sales Executive position, Chantelle Sobkowski will also provide added assistance to New Zealand retail agents.
Collaborating with the wider sales team while based in Sydney, Oscar Ley has been appointed as the dedicated Trade Marketing Executive, further empowering travel partners with the tools and resources to help expand their earning potential.
