Nightcap Hotels (owned and operated by ALH Hotels, the hospitality arm of Endeavour Group), has just reached a major milestone, with the recent renovations of three hotels: Nightcap at Pritchard’s Hotel (NSW), Nightcap at Atherton Hotel (QLD) and Nightcap at Hotel Victor (SA), taking the hotel group to 75 properties nation-wide.
Located on the bustling Elizabeth Drive in the Sydney suburb of Mount Pritchard, Nightcap at Pritchard’s Hotel, offers a Sports Bar, family friendly bistro and free WiFi access throughout. Providing newly renovated rooms for those visiting Sydney’s southwest – each with a private ensuite, smart TV and King Koil beds – it’s only a short trip away from Cabramatta and Liverpool, making it ideal for guests visiting friends and family in the area.
Nightcap at Atherton Hotel is positioned in the Tablelands Region southeast of Cairns. Having been around since the turn of the last century, its rich history has seen it become a pillar in the community, welcoming guests for years. After undergoing renovations, the studio rooms and apartments have now reopened, with a refreshed design reflecting the surrounding area; blue and green hues have been used throughout as a nod to the lakes, waterfalls and other natural beauty in the local area.
Situated in a picturesque seaside holiday destination in South Australia, Nightcap at Hotel Victor, which opened in November, has been a favourite amongst locals and visitors since 1863 and is considered the heart of the community. A place for friends to meet, families to relax and tourists to enjoy themselves, the newly refurbished hotel now boasts a brand-new bistro and bar, and overlooks Warland Reserve, Granite Island and Encounter Bay.
The interiors of these three Nightcap Hotels have been carefully designed and curated by AF Sourcing who have been responsible for many of the recent Nightcap Hotels renovations across Australia.
AF Sourcing Interior Designer, Erica Richardson, said her goal was to create spaces that feed the modern guests’ appetite for originality and local inspiration, while providing exceptional comfort and convenience.
“I begin by carefully assessing which original features should be retained and enhanced, and which need to be modernised to meet the needs of today’s ‘plugged in’ guests,” she said.
“From there, I focus on layering in references to key aspects of the local area, which for a property such as Hotel Victor, was centred around its present-day role as a relaxed seaside getaway.
“The risk with modern hotels is that a well-travelled guest may wake up wondering which hotel or even which city they are in as the interiors are often soulless and generic; however, a Nightcap guest can expect to be surprised by a unique and often quirky interior which embodies the vibe of the neighbourhood. With Nightcap Hotels, modern comfort and convenience and localised design go hand-in-hand.”
Along with modern and welcoming rooms, central locations and bespoke design elements, ALH Hotels’ Head of Accommodation, Brett Salter, believes their commitment of putting their guests at the centre of all they do is what has led to their continued success.
“We’ve made it our mission to create a fun and all-encompassing hotel experience where our guests can enjoy the convenience of everything in one place, such as, bars, restaurants and entertainment,” he said.
“Our rooms are designed by travellers for travellers. Thousands of reviews have inspired and informed our convenient pre-check-in service, our Nightcap King Koil beds, USB charging points in the right spots and plenty of them, our signature rain showers, not to mention our unique interior designs that have been tailored to each hotel and destination. Our everyday value and inclusions continue to surprise, driving loyalty; it’s the little things like offering a complimentary welcome drink per person, free bottled spring water, 10% off dining during your stay and fast and free WiFi, that keep guests coming back time and time again.
“Nightcap Hotels’ continued expansion across Australia reflects our goal to grow well beyond 100 locations, giving the Nightcap traveller what they want – a considered and memorable experience where they can eat, drink, play and stay, all in the best locations around the country.
“We’re so proud to reach our 75th property milestone this year and look forward to welcoming guests at our three newest hotels.”
