Leading travel brand Discover Queensland has partnered with one of Australia’s most recognisable lifestyle companions, The Entertainment App, adding a revolutionary new inclusion to its already unbeatable Queensland holiday deals.
For all new bookings made from November 2022, Discover Queensland customers will receive a complimentary Membership to The Entertainment App, unlocking access to thousands of exclusive offers for local cafes, restaurants, stores and attractions. The Multi-City Membership spans three months, allowing customers to play, dine and save during their stay in Queensland and across 20 major towns and cities in Australia and New Zealand.
Recently appointed Leisurecom Group Chief Marketing Officer Jake Falkinder said he’s thrilled to announce the partnership with Entertainment Group, marking it a golden opportunity for Queensland travellers to discover and indulge in more local experiences at the tap of a button.
“The appetite for local experiences has been growing exponentially, which is why our partnership with The Entertainment App is so fitting, given that The Entertainment Group has been connecting local communities for over 25 years now. Our customers are now able to fully immerse themselves in each stunning Queensland destination they visit, with experiences that don’t cost the world,” said Mr Falkinder.
“As an added bonus, Discover Queensland customers will be able to take advantage of The Entertainment App’s benefits before, during and after their stay, providing them with exclusive offers at popular spots to help make their holiday in the Sunshine State one to remember.”
The complimentary three-month Multi City Membership to The Entertainment App gives users access to 10,000 offers for local merchants and operators, inspiring travellers with cafes, restaurants, attractions and stores across popular Queensland destinations, including the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Tropical North Queensland and Whitsundays.
In his new role, Falkinder will oversee the marketing operations of Leisurecom’s multiple travel brands, including Discover Queensland, eCruising and Latitude 33, and Incentiapay’s portfolio of brands, including The Entertainment App.
“Leisurecom is such a respected brand in the travel industry, and I’m very excited to have joined the team at such an pivotal time – becoming a driving force in re-igniting the Group’s many brands,” he said.
Falkinder joins Leisurecom Group from Boardriders, where he led the centralised marketing team working across brands including Billabong, Quiksilver and Roxy. Falkinder also has long experience in the travel sector, including roles at Mantra Group, Ignite Travel Group, Virgin and Qantas.
The partnership between Discover Queensland and Entertainment is part of a strategy enabling Leisurecom Group to provide its customers exclusive access to travel experiences that can’t be found elsewhere whilst also representing unbeatable value for money.
