She later moved to the UK as Sales and Operations manager across Peregrine and Geckos before leading the industry sales and customer service team in 2013. The bumper day on Tuesday (November 22) happened during Intrepid’s annual Cyber Sale, where travellers can save up to 25 per cent* on selected small-group adventures.

The record day comes as the business grows its ANZ team and targets further growth from this market.
Intrepid has also expanded its ANZ sales team, with more than ten new Adventure Specialists joining since October.
Karen Shepherd has returned to Intrepid as General Manager of Sales and Customer Service. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Shepherd joined Peregrine in 2006 as National Sales Manager.
