Hospitality management firm GCP Hospitality introduces Melbourne to a new way of community living with Together Co-Living. Located in the inner-city suburb of Preston, Together Co-Living provides an all-in-one living solution designed for modern lifestyles that are focused on community and interactivity, with the perks of communal space and privacy. The design-driven site boasts 455 studio apartments of varying sizes for young professionals and digital nomads from regional Victoria, interstate and overseas, with rates starting from $387 per week*.
Together Co-Living offers five room categories, ensuring residents can choose a private space that best suits their needs. Fully furnished, all rooms are equipped with storage areas and an ensuite bathroom, as well as a smart TV, a microwave, a kettle and a bar fridge. The rent includes utilities, Wi-Fi and weekly housekeeping services.
Designed by Architectus, the newly renovated building at 205 Bell Street in Preston has been reimagined as a space for nurturing a community, introducing a large co-working area featuring meeting rooms, along with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces spanning across 3,300 sqm. Residents have access to a fully equipped 230 sqm gym, an outdoor heated pool, sports court and communal kitchens – as well as an extensive monthly lineup of community events that are carefully curated to include a blend of education, wellness, leisure and more. Onsite restaurant The Yard Eatery & Swim Club offers guests a wide selection of classic bites and comfort food, complemented by beers, wines and everything in between.
Together Co-Living also caters to tertiary students through its Campus studios, located on designated floors. Whilst being housed in the same building as Together Co-Living, all 237 Campus Melbourne studios are exclusively dedicated to students. This allows Campus residents to thrive and foster a tight-knit student community while enjoying the privacy of having their own rooms and being able to access all the facilities at Together Co-Living.
Starting from $273 per week*, these no-contract Campus rooms are fully secured to ensure the safety and welfare of all students, and provide a welcome alternative to pricey off-campus accommodation such as rentals and share houses.
“We are excited to introduce Melbourne to a new design-led concept, redefining the co-living experience through exceptional spaces to live in, along with a sense of community catering to different age groups with a similar lifestyle. Given its convenient and well-connected location, we are confident that Together Co-Living will answer the growing demand for community living in Melbourne,” says Denis Dupart, VP Operations Australia, GCP Hospitality.
“GCP Hospitality has an enviable track record globally for creating hospitality solutions that fill in a market gap, from lifestyle hotels and modern serviced apartments to co-living concepts. We kick-started our operations in Australia in 2018, with the successful launch of a student co-living hub: Campus Perth. We are excited to now expand to Melbourne with Together Co-Living, giving its residents an opportunity to be part of a community,” says Erwann Mahe, CEO, GCP Hospitality.
Together Co-Living is located within a short distance of the Melbourne CBD as well as Melbourne Airport and universities, with direct access to buses, tram and train lines, connecting residents to key working and shopping precincts. The site is a short walk away from the vibrant High Street, with a wide selection of markets, restaurants and bars located on both sides of Bell Street.
