Rapidly expanding youth touring specialist TruTravels has its eye on the Australian market and has enlisted the support of representation business Evolution Travel Collective (ETC) to fast-track its expansion to agents down under.

UK-based TruTravels has recently extended its product offering from its original ‘Classic’ product range in Asia, to include select destinations in Europe and Latin America that appeal to the youth traveller. At the same time, TruTravels has expanded its travel styles. It now offers four different styles across 17 countries around the globe: Flashpacker, Fitventures, Sailventures and its original “Classic” tours.

Mark Pope, TruTravels co-founder, said it made perfect sense for the company to partner with ETC as part of its focus on the Australia travel trade.

“We are committed to working with the Australian travel industry and we see ETC’s expertise, specifically in the small group/youth sector, as the perfect way to help us ensure we can continue to grow our brand presence with agents in the region,” Pope said.

Evolution Travel Collective chief executive Pete Rawley stated that “having spent much of my career within the small group touring sector and in particular, significant time with another youth touring brand, I am very excited to have the opportunity to introduce and grow the TruTravels brand in the Australian B2B space.
