“We have been committed to expanding NH Hotel Group’s brands outside of their traditional areas of operation. The launch of three NH Collection properties in the Middle East in 2023 demonstrates this commitment.
Minor Hotels, a hotel owner, operator, and investor with a portfolio of 530 hotels and resorts in 56 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Indian Ocean, continues its commitment to expanding NH Hotel Group’s brands.
The new-build hotel is in a prime location on Palm Jumeirah, situated on the main trunk next to Nakheel Mall, with crucial tourist attractions including Burj Khalifa, Ain Dubai – the world’s giant Ferris Wheel, Dubai Marina, the Dubai Mall and the recently opened Museum of the Future all a short drive away.
The new hotel comprises 299 guest rooms and suites with spectacular views of the Arabian Sea and city skyline. The property is located along Doha’s eastern coast, midway between the city centre and Hamad International Airport, with easy access to attractions such as Souq Waqif, the numerous museums the city has to offer, and Westbay and Doha Corniche.
Designed to appeal to leisure and business travellers, NH Collection stands for meticulous attention to detail, outstanding services, premium innovative products, and access to state-of-the-art technology. In addition, a beach club and restaurant are scheduled to open later in 2023. In the final stages of development in Qatar, NH Collection Oasis Doha Hotel will open in early 2023. This is just the start, and we continue to explore opportunities to grow further the footprint of NH Collection, NH and now in the Middle East, the Asia Pacific region, Africa and the Indian Ocean, and I’m confident we’ll have more exciting announcements to share soon,” commented Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO Minor International and CEO Minor Hotels.
In addition, the hotel will have a private beach club. Adding to the brand’s expansion in the Middle East, the 265-key NH Collection La Suite Hotel Dubai was recently announced. The Middle East region will see three NH Collection properties launch in 2023, with two in Dubai and one in Doha. It will undergo an extensive renovation before being launched with the NH Collection flag later in 2023.
Centrally located on Sheikh Zayed Road, Minor Hotels will operate the property from Q1 next year.
