Quest Apartment Hotels have won Most Outstanding Industry Support – accommodation at the National Travel Industry Awards (NTIAs) held at the ICC in Sydney on Saturday October 15.Managing Director at Ascott Australia, David Mansfield, and Quest National Sales team representatives were in attendance on the night to accept the award on behalf of the network.

A unique point of difference was the fact that Quest business owners kept their properties open throughout the pandemic. At a network level during COVID, Quest properties were sitting at approximately 50% occupancy compared to the 10% industry average.

In the first six months of 2022, Quest sold 190,595 room nights to travel management company partners, an 8% increase on 2019, and has just delivered its highest group revenue since inception.

Quest’s commitment to reinforcing mutually beneficial relationships saw the team go above and beyond for a travel management client with the creation of a bespoke accommodation solution for the National Basketball League Cup, where a sports hub experience was created the pandemic allowing teams to feel at home while staying at Quest.

The local business owner converted their Victorian serviced apartments into gaming rooms, massage rooms and even decaled an entire floor with fan messages for the teams to check out as they checked in to their exclusive floor at Quest.

Over the past 12 months, Quest have also worked closely with travel management companies to provide flexible accommodation solutions for long stay production and film crews who moved to Australia and had to operate through Covid. While capacity was stretched due to unprecedented demand for domestic travel, Quest prioritised rooms for valued travel business partners.
