After months of anticipation, North Queensland is celebrating the official launch of the Townsville MONOPOLY board.
Locals and visitors can now celebrate everything the region has to offer all while playing the world’s most popular board game!
Over the last few months, thousands of locals across the Townsville region have been carefully selecting the best locations to feature on the board.
After much deliberation and anticipation, the final custom themed squares have been announced.
The custom themed squares on the Townsville MONOPOLY board are:
● Brown – Paluma Range National Park and Queens Gardens
● Light Blue – MOUA, Perc Tucker Regional Gallery and Jezzine Barracks
● Pink – Townsville Triathlon & Multisport Festival, North Queensland Cowboys and Queensland Country Bank Stadium
● Orange – Townsville Show, M.I. Rentals Jeeps on Maggie and Townsville Helicopters
● Red – Palmer Street, Flinders Street and Castletown
● Yellow – City Lane, The Ville Resort – Casino and Townsville Brewery
● Green – Reef HQ Aquarium, James Cook University and Magnetic Island
● Dark Blue – The Strand and Castle Hill
● Transport – Townsville Scooter, Townsville Rail, Townsville Airport and Magnetic Island Ferry
