Berlin’s hotel industry reported improved occupancy and all-time highs in room rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR), according to preliminary September 2022 data from STR.

- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): EUR132.30
While the ADR and RevPAR levels were the highest for any month on record in the market, occupancy was the highest since October 2019 but still 6.1% below the pre-pandemic comparable.
When looking at daily data, Berlin reported its highest occupancy levels on 20 and 21 September, at 92.5% and 94.4%, respectively. The metrics were helped by the InnoTrans conference (20-23 September), which had not been on the calendar for four years. Other events, such as Berlin Fashion Week, also pushed performance levels.
