Great Journeys New Zealand (GJNZ) has released fares for its three scenic trains, valid through June 2024. The move will let agents forward plan for those clients already looking at 2024 travel.

The company has also taken the opportunity to simplify the pricing model, with fares now showcased into easy ‘peak’ and ‘off-peak’ seasonality. This will see the peak period now covering October – April and off-peak May – September each year.

Additionally, GJNZ has extended its flexible booking policy so that all independent travel bookings for the three scenic trains can be amended free-of-charge until 24 hours before  departure.

GJNZ’s local representative, Ingrid Berthelsen, from ETC, said, “Great Journeys New Zealand understand the additional pressures agents are currently under with regard to bookings still requiring simplicity and flexibility. The fact that they have simplified the seasonality and extended this flexibility through until 2024, further cements the understanding the brand has in working with agents.”
