Grand-Hyatt-Fukuoka-P022-Exterior-Night.We care FOR PEOPLE SO THEY CAN BE THEIR best.

I’m standing in the lobby of this Grand Hyatt five-star hotel waiting to meet with Miyuki Seki, the hotel’s Director of Sales and Marketing. Required face masks and hand sanitisers don’t hide the sincere and warm welcome of every person who enters the hotel and approaches the front desk. They say first impressions are often reality, so a guest would immediately anticipate a pleasant stay.

As Miyuki approaches to greet me, I also receive the traditional bow and kind words, which I enthusiastically reciprocate as I have been here 5 weeks and am well versed now in these pleasantries. We go to the lobby lounge to chat about the hotel and enjoy an elegantly presented tea. The table has a fresh envelope that is used to store your mask while sipping tea in this elegant lounge. They have thoughtfully supplied a wet towelette to cool down and refresh.

Miyuki has 22 years with Hyatt and tells me with pride that Hyatt operates in over seventy countries and has eighteen properties in Japan with Fuji Speedway Hotel coming up in October 2022, and Hyatt Centric Sapporo opening in 2024. Hyatt operates their brands where you would like to be. At the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka property, the rooms are 27 sqm and some business rooms are up to 45 sqm.

We discuss the high priorities of such a hotel and not surprisingly location is one of those, in this case, they are right next to and connected with the famous Canal City Hakata shopping complex. With over two hundred stores and restaurants, you will find everything you need. Even a full floor of Ramen restaurants. Added priority is safety, with covid precautions across service, banqueting facilities and a tempting selection of eating and drinking facility.

Japanese hospitality is renowned and another feature of this property. The characteristics of attentiveness, smile, politeness, calmness, and overall warm welcome, all blended to add value to your stay at Grand Hyatt Fukuoka. The guest desk is available to assist your touristic needs and the island of Kyushu with nearby prefectures has a wide range of attractions, which I will cover in future articles. Kyushu has been called Japan’s holiday destination and regional strength. With amazing food, Onsen, castles, shrines, mountains and lakes, and volcanoes, you need to spend time here with Fukuoka as your base.

Kyushu is one of the four main islands that make up Japan, along with Hokkaido, Honshu, and Shikoku. It is comprised of Fukuoka prefecture, Saga prefecture, Nagasaki prefecture, Kumamoto prefecture, Oita prefecture, Miyazaki prefecture, and Kagoshima prefecture. All visitors to Japan should include Fukuoka and other prefectures in their itineraries. Each prefecture in Kyushu abounds with natural beauty and rich traditions, but each has its own distinct identity.

The Grand Hyatt Fukuoka with amazing guest rooms, banqueting, meeting spaces, service, location and much more, it is no surprise guests come back over and over again.

As we conclude our pleasant chat, guests are leaving their pre-dinner teas and drinks to enjoy one of the excellent eating areas of the Grand Hyatt. It is indeed Grand!
