Guests at Royal Hawaiian Center can soon satisfy their gelato cravings, get their matcha fix, and fulfill a wide range of shopping needs with four new shops and eateries:

• Broome Street General Store (Grand Opening Sept. 1, 2022) – Established In 2010 with a flagship location In Los Angeles, this luxury convenience shop will open its first Hawaii location this month. Here, guests can find all kinds of products, from clean independent beauty, housewares and keiki goods to gourmet food and pantry items, with an emphasis on local makers from Oahu. Every purchase at the one-stop shop will support organizations that champion equality, sustainability and public education. “This is a dream,” said Sophie Graham, founder of Broome Street General Store. “Recently I read that Waikiki continues to be an evolving expression of the ancient spirit of Aloha. On these famous shores, the past and the future are uniting in fresh and surprising ways. We’re humbled to be a part of it.” Open daily 11:00am – 9:00pm. Building B, Level 1.

• Junbi (Opening October 2022) – Founded in 2017 with headquarters in Pasadena, California, this fast-growing matcha green tea brand is the leader of its class. At Junbi, guests receive the highest quality matcha sourced straight from the co-founders’ farms in Japan. Known for bright, friendly retail locations distinguished by a signature sunshine yellow, Junbi offers an innovative matcha-centric menu with favorites such as Strawberry Matcha and Yuzu Dragon Fruit Matcha. Open daily 11:00am – 9:00pm. Building C, Level 1

• Gelatissimo (Opening October 2022) – “Life tastes better with gelato” is Gelatissimo’s signature catchphrase. This award-winning Sydney-founded artisan gelato shop fuses old school classics with quirky new tastes that use only the best ingredients with no artificial colors or flavors. Notable flavors include Wicked Double Choc Brownie and Choc Honeycomb. A stop by this gelato shop is the perfect way to cool off in the Waikiki heat. Open daily 11:00am – 9:00pm. Building A, Level 1.

• Tropical Goddess (Opening October 2022) – Inspired by the tropical beauty of the Hawaiian Islands, Tropical Goddess is a beach fashion paradise. Carrying some of the most talented Maui designers, this female-owned boutique seamlessly blends Boho and tropical style, creating an ideal island-wear brand. The company is motivated by living a healthy lifestyle and inspired by the whimsical attitude of a world traveler, both of which are echoed in the stores. Top selling brands include Acacia Swimwear and XIX Palms. Open daily 11:00am – 9:00pm. Building B, Level 1.
