Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr Andre Viljoen said the inaugural flight would generate interest ahead of the direct non-stop flights on November 25th, 2022.
Today Fiji Airways’ inaugural direct flight to Vancouver, Canada, departs Nadi International Airport at 7 pm, touching down in Vancouver at 10:45 am local time on the 9 August.

However, it is a large market, and we must make every effort possible to give our airline exposure and to capture international travellers from Canada who may not be aware that they can hop on our modern A330 aircraft and wake up in paradise.” The new route provides a seamless flight for Canadians looking to holiday in a tropical paradise and for families to visit each other.
