Tiny Away has introduced a new tiny house in the NSW Snowy Mountains. Wallaby Cabin joins the company’s collection of over 150 tiny houses across Australia.

Wallaby Cabin is in the heart of the Snowy Mountains in tranquil Crackenback. The off-grid house overlooks Porcupine Rocks and is surrounded by lush green pastures in spring and pristine snow-capped mountains in winter where you can ski and snowboard on some of the country’s top slopes just a stone’s throw away.

The tiny house is located close to restaurants, cafes and shops including Crackenback Restaurant Farm for hearty meals and the local favourite, Wild Brumby Distillery, which offers live music sessions and is perfect for relaxing with friends over a locally crafted drink.

The tiny house is a studio space of 155 sq ft and offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, queen-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, and heating. Bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

A step up from glamping, each tiny house offers hot showers, air conditioning, a cosy queen bed, and a kitchenette. For a 21st century eco-conscious getaway, the charm of the tiny houses will fulfil your desire for holidaying sustainably.
